Shipping Policy

For UK orders, we use Royal Mail Special Delivery. This is an insured service up to a value of £2500.

 

For all orders outside of the UK we use Transglobal Express to arrange DHL Express Shipping or Fedex. We reserve the right to use another courier at our discretion and without notice. International shipping is also an insured service.

 

If we do not currently ship to your country, please contact us to discuss. 

 

We aim to ship all orders within 2-5 working days of them being placed, please note that weekends do not count as working days. We pay for insurance, where appropriate, ourselves.

 

Please note for international customers, if you live in an area where there is a remote surcharge applicable, we reserve the right pass on the courier’s extra charge for this. Please contact us if you want to check before placing your order.

 

Also note, we can only ship to a physical address, not PO Boxes. If you give us an incorrect address, we reserve the right to charge you the change of address fee requested by the courier.

 

It is your responsibility as a buyer to understand the legality of importing any jewellery into your country or jurisdiction and the potential customs fees and taxes that may be incurred, and to pay for any such charges and associated charged that may apply and be levied either by the courier directly or by the representatives of the local customs and tax collection authority.

 

We have a legal duty to accurately declare the value and description of any item. This is also required for insurance purposes. We always use the Taric / Harmonised System code for antique / vintage items where appropriate and supply a self-certified antiques declaration to support this.

 

We are also not responsible for delays due to customs.  If for any reason an item / items are returned to us by the courier due to local customs / taxes not being paid by the customer any associated fees incurred by us will be passed on to the customer. 

 

We will never send items marked as gifts or declared as an incorrect value, with the intention of the customer avoiding any shipping, customs, or tax related fees. Please do not ask.

Hasn't this come around quickly this year! We want to be proactive and ensure you get your PARAT treasures in time for the big day so we've listed last guaranteed shipping dates as set out by DHL and Royal Mail 👍🏻 

 

Please however do bear in mind, this is out of our control, these are the dates given by DHL and Royal Mail for things guaranteed to arrive before Christmas, they of course may not.

 

DHL Express Guaranteed For Christmas Last Shipping Dates

USA and Canada - Tuesday 17th December​

Rest of world - Tuesday 17th December​

EU and non EU  - Wednesday 18th December

 

Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed For Christmas Last Shipping Date

UK - Monday 23rd December

 

You can place orders after the dates given above, we will ship orders received up until Sunday 22nd December but please please bear in mind that unless you're in the UK, parcels won't be guaranteed to arrive before Christmas. 

 

Any orders placed after Sunday 22nd December will not ship until Thursday 2nd January 2025!
