United States of America (USA)
Customs Duties
Due to recent changes relating to tariffs in the USA, we now take payment of the 10% tariff up front at checkout. This means that your order should arrive promptly and seamlessly via a Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) method. There should not be any further cost to you however, in the circumstance where there are any additional customs fees imposed by US authorities we reserve the right to charge for these. Please note, the DDP you have paid will be deducted from your total refund if you return your order, we do not have the facility to claim this money back.
It is your responsibility as a buyer to understand the legality of importing any jewellery or antiques into your country or jurisdiction and the potential customs fees and local taxes that may be incurred, and to pay for any such charges and associated charges that may apply and be levied either by the courier directly or by the representatives of the local customs and tax collection authority.
Please note that if the 10% duty has not been paid upfront at the point of sale, and shown on the invoice, the item will be shipped by Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU). You may receive your fast-tracked item/s before receiving the customs bill and you are required to pay to customs or the courier. As above, it is your responsibility to pay any charges billed to you by the courier used. If these go unpaid we reserve the right to charge any costs incurred as a result of the item being returned or any associated customs fees.
Shipping
We use Transglobal Express to arrange shipping through DHL or Fedex. We reserve the right to use another courier at our discretion and without notice. International shipping is also an insured service, which we pay for ourselves where appropriate.

Remote Surcharge & Physical Address
If you live in an area where there is a remote surcharge applicable, we reserve the right pass on the courier’s extra charge for this. Please contact us if you want to check before placing your order. Also note, we can only ship to a physical address, not PO Boxes. If you give us an incorrect address, we reserve the right to charge you the change of address fee requested by the courier.
Declared Values
We have a legal duty to accurately declare the value and description of any item. This is also required for insurance purposes. We always use the Taric / Harmonised System code for antique / vintage items where appropriate and supply a self-certified antiques declaration to support this. Currently, the antique code is 0% additional tax.
We will never send items marked as gifts or declared as an incorrect value, with the intention of the customer avoiding any shipping, customs, or tax related fees. Please do not ask.
We are also not responsible for delays due to customs. If for any reason an item / items are returned to us by the courier due to local customs / taxes not being paid by the customer any associated fees incurred by us will be passed on to the customer.
